ArmandoBorjasJr-Way-sign

The Apopka City Council recently renamed a portion of Piedmont-Wekiva Road to Armando Borjas Jr. Way. The decision recognized the late Armando Borjas Jr., who served as a City of Apopka firefighter for 14 years before losing a battle with cancer in October, 2013. Borjas also served his country as a United States Marine, which included deployment overseas. Click here to see the resolution adopted unanimously by the Apopka City Council.
