Lastly, thank you to all the parent volunteers that spent their Saturdays decorating the parade route to make these events so special.
The City of Apopka hosted these two graduation parades at the Northwest Recreation Complex, 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway, Apopka.
The City of Apopka hosted these two parades to honor our graduating seniors from Apopka High School and Wekiva High School in light of traditional ceremonies being postponed due to the pandemic.
The seniors drove through the Northwest Recreation Complex while parents and family members are parked along the route.
AM 950 and FM 94.9 THE ANSWER, part of Salem Communications, aired these events and announced the names of all the graduating seniors.
Pictures of the students in their vehicles were taken by Ralo Flores (Wekiva High School) and Ken Frazier (Apopka High School). They are available for parents to download.
Please Note: This event was a City of Apopka sponsored event and not Orange County Public School. Diplomas were not be handed out.
